Sun, Sand, and Perfect Tans: Pensacola Beach

Pensacola is a beautiful white sand beach located in the panhandle of Florida. Pensacola has a lot of different activities to participate in while visiting other than just the beach.


Pensacola is home to a US Navy base, which is also home to the US Navy Flight demonstration squadron, Blue Angels. In the summer thousands of people gather on the beaches to watch the Blue Angels perform an aerial show over the beach. Pensacola is also home to the Naval Aviation Museum. This Museum is has a variety of interesting aircraft and spacecrafts, simulators, and much more. Katie has personally been there and really recommends it.


Asides from attracts Pensacola has a variety of popular restaurants, such as:


Crabs

Crabs is very popular for having a restaurant that directly backs up to the beach and even has seating on the beach. There is fun for everyone at Crabs. There is a playground for kids and delicious cocktails for adults. It is a great spot to have dinner and watch the sun set.

Casino beach bar & grill

For a more relaxed food option there is Casino beach bar and grill located right next to the Pier. They have really great food for being a bar. They have a lot of different options. They also have a variety of alcoholic beverages to pair with their food.

Grand Marlin

The Grand Marlin is an upscale waterfront restaurant located on the left right when you cross the bridge to enter Pensacola Beach. This is a good restaurant for a date night or a fancy family dinner.

Pier

The Pier is always fun to walk down to check out the back from a different perspective, watch fishermen catch massive fish, look at out the ocean, or even watch the sun set. It is only $1 per person to take a walk down the pier.

There a lot activities that can be done at Pensacola Beach besides visiting the beach. They have the Blue Wahoo baseball team, Breweries, Food trucks, Bars, and depending on the season there are festivals. You can catch a Blue Wahoo game during the summer at their home field 10 minutes from the beach, There are a few breweries in downtown Pensacola where you can try local Pensacola beer in a fun atmosphere, along with many food trucks around. There are many festivals that go on in Pensacola throughout the summer. Pensacola hosts wine, seafood, and many other festivals depending on the time of year.
