Here at Cherry Blossom Travel, we define travel as anything that takes you out of your day-to-day life. You can travel across the seas, journey to a different state, or simply venture across town to discover something new and exciting.

Over this past weekend, I took the kids and mom to check out Krog Street Market located in the heart of Inman Park. For those of you who live outside the perimeter, you know how getting into the city can take some effort, but I promise you a visit to this food hall is well worth the trek.

The market is composed of fast casual dining in a trendy cafeteria style setting. Te set up allows them to provide a range of authentic cuisine options from around the globe such as: fire-oven pizza, sushi, dumplings, falafel, gyro, pho, ice cream, southern food, local chocolate, tarts, and much more. Don’t forget to grab a drink at Hop City to pair with your delicious meal.

If you are looking to do a more formal sit down meal there are several options:

We chose Superica because it’s always a good time for Mexican food!! 🌮💃🏻🕺

Superica has a great ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. The wait was about 30 minutes for a party of five, with the convenience of receiving a text when your table is ready. We sat outside as it was the first available spot but they have toasty heaters that hang above the tables so we got the best of both worlds, the warmth of being inside with the fresh air of outside and after a week of straight rain we were happy to be outdoors.

Did I mention the seat cushions were to die for?! Random right? But typically when you go to a restaurant the chairs aren’t terribly comfortable so it’s worth the mention.

In addition to being warm and comfy the wait staff was super friendly and the menu had options for everyone. As a vegetarian they were very attentive to our dietary restrictions which isn’t always the case but is a welcome bonus.

My mom ordered the Fajitas Al Carbon Vegetable Mixta which is fancy for veggie fajitas. It is served with lettuce, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream, cheese, beans and fresh flour tortillas for $20.

I got the vegetable enchiladas which comes with a side of rice and beans for $13.

The prices were average for the area but the kids menu was quiet economical. For $7 they had a choice of two tacos, a cheese quesadilla, or bean and cheese nachos, each came with a side of rice and beans, a drink, and a Popsicle. Although we totally didn’t get the Popsicle… I think it just slipped everyone’s mind besides we had already stopped by XOCHOATL and gotten some chocolate for after dinner.

So if you looking something different or can’t decide what your in the mood for? Head down to Krog Street Market and get one of each!
